Black Velvet Canadian Whisky is renowned for its remarkably smooth taste, slightly sweeter taste profile, and clean finish. Much of this style is driven by the higher rye content of Canadian whiskies and Black Velvet’s special distilling process. Black Velvet Canadian Whisky uses crystal clear Canadian water, plus the finest of Canada’s rye, grains, and corn; the whisky is painstakingly blended, distilled, and put up in premium oak barrels to gently mature. Black Velvet is aged a minimum of three yars to bring out a remarkably smooth taste.
